$2,450 will cover the cost of 10 ponchos for each of 7 classes up to and including grade 3. COVID-19 back to school rules require that students maximize outdoor time, rain or shine, including at lunch and recesses.  Where students arrive at school on a rainy day, for which they are not properly clothed, the ponchos will mean that when outside in the rain the children can stay warm and dry.

The balance of the funds will pay for the cost of replacing 10 obsolete iPads and a charging station required to support remote learning for those children required by family, health regulations or illness, during the COVID-19 pandemic, to attend to their school lessons by working from home.
