At the 1pm site visit meeting?  Neither Mary nor Don will be there – and I think we might need their thoughts and input on what type of “Rotary stuff” is available.

 

From what I know, in terms of “Rotary items” and signage, we have:

 

·         The big multi sided sign (with sponsor logos, etc) that Heather is having made up

·         The 2 Rotary wheels  (Don to bring to the event)

·         Vertical banners, as per Mary’s Email

·         Rotary Pins

·         Advertisement Tickets to the showcase (Heather to confirm that Brian Street is doing this)

 

Don – I don’t think we ever came to a decision on having the proclamations printed.  I know one of them is to go in the program.  Do we want to get them printed on large foam core and displayed at each event?  (ie: on easels?)  It would cost to get them enlarged and printed – likely a couple of hundred dollars.  (just a guess) 

 

Am I missing anything?

PS – The Balloon place will not sponsor us, unfortunately.  I asked – they declined.  I think regardless we need to spend a few hundred dollars on some blue and yellow balloons to add some festiveness and color to the plaza.

In follow up with Bill re GST, he confirms I have shown it correctly in the gala revenue - that is net of GST - so we are looking at a $12k loss currently overall. So please keep managing costs and looking for savings as we go. He also confirmed that we should just pay GST on Abra Cadabra or any other contracts that take place in April, so I have asked them to revise their contract accordingly.

 

I have found a Rotary flag for the Board of Trade and will get it this weekend.
